Mildiani Family WineryWP1100 uses WINEGRID’s to monitor wine fermentation in tanks remotely and in real-time in order to improve operational efficiency.
In the photo bellow you can see their amphoras (kvevri) buried in the soil. This is an ancestral winemaking method, typical from Georgia, in which the wine remains in amphoras for 6 months untouched, while fermenting. This country has more than 500 different kinds of autochtonous grape variaties.
